EDGAR GUANIPA GALLERY

THE SEVENTH LABOR OF HERACLES 2020 Acrylic on Canvas 58 x 150 Inches EDGAR GUANIPA.JPG

I was born in Caracas Venezuela in 1967. In 1984 I graduated from The High School in Humanities Liceo Carlos Soublette. I attended the School of Visual Arts Cristobal Rojas in 1987. In 1994 I received my BFA from the Central University of Venezuela. In 1994 I moved to the United States and became citizen.

I work in acrylic and often incorporate elements of drawing and collage. I am interested in the human figure, experimentation, and techniques of serialism. Serial art refers to a form of art that are meant to be viewed together as a cohesive whole. These works are often produced in a sequential order, with each piece is building upon the previous one to create a narrative. I will be more than happy to donate all my work to any museum or art institution.
